The story began in the early 1980s with the development of the company’s first medical devices, marking the start of Instramed’s journey in Brazilian medical technology.
1980
The first product introduced to the market — an electrosurgical unit that established the company’s technical expertise and built market trust.
1983
Company ownership restructuring and the definitive consolidation of the Instramed brand. Launch of Miniscope, the company’s first patient monitor.
1986
Launch of HS01 (defibrillator) and HS02 (cardioverter), marking Instramed’s entry into the cardiac emergency segment.
1989
New generations of Miniscope (1998), Miniscope II (2000), and the new HS01 (2002).
Extended product lifecycle and sustained market competitiveness.
1998–2002
The beginning of a new era: larger screens, expanded clinical parameters, and more intuitive interfaces.
2003
InMax 8 Color (2005) and InMax 10 (2008) expanded monitoring capabilities and usability for critical care environments.
2005–2008
A groundbreaking device that integrated monitoring, cardioversion, and defibrillation into a single compact solution, redefining the standards of emergency medicine.
2006
Relocation to Sarandi, CE certification for CardioMax, and the beginning of Instramed’s international presence. The company started to expand beyond borders.
2009
Launch of the Apolus and ISIS defibrillators, helping democratize access to defibrillation in public environments. ISIS reached approximately 10,000 units manufactured.
2011
Technical advancements and continued market consolidation.
2013–2015
Regulatory approval of DualMax (2018) and the i.on line (2019), both receiving CE certification. The i.on line introduced cloud connectivity.
2018–2019
Regulatory approval of the InMax monitor family and DualM. Launch of the new InMax 12 with touchscreen technology and high-performance capabilities.
2020
Opening of the new manufacturing facility in Palhoça (Santa Catarina, Brazil) and advancement of IoT solutions. Infrastructure prepared for the next decades of connected healthcare.
2022
Development of new strategic principles, investment in new partnerships, and portfolio expansion.
2023
Expansion of the emergency and urgent care portfolio, bringing new technologies to hospitals and healthcare services across Brazil and broadening the company’s impact on patient care.
Introduction of the In.Pulse Holter, Instramed’s ambulatory cardiac monitoring solution, featuring an intuitive interface, advanced ECG analysis software, and intelligent diagnostic capabilities, expanding the company’s presence in cardiovascular diagnostics.
